I don't know how they've made the new ones look relatively"small" compared to their predecessors but they have. Hard to believe 2,500cc's are packed in there.
Yeah. The single sided swing arms make the bike look lighter and draws more attention to the wheel and less to the Civic-sized motor up front. The baggers give it a longer look to make it more proportional. Overall, Triumph really killed it with the Rocket. I've got one on my "to get" list - maybe by the end of the summer. Not sure how I'm gonna fit it in the garage.

Just put the wife's car outside, she'll understand.......:brick:

Cool bikes for going straight. Not the same level of reliability as the 1500s though. I nearly bought one til I spent time on one. Its an arm stretcher for sure, but a PITA at slow speeds. I would take a Rocket 3 over the M109
I’m looking for something to do 5-8 hours at a time. Not necessarily a “bagger” but something I can throw some bags on and go.
I have fast ****,

You certainly could, but its not really the best tool for the job. If I were going for metric cruiser, I'd choose the Stratoliner/Roadliner, or the C90T. I have an early C90T and its a great bike - quick for what it is, comfortable for hours, handles pretty well too for the wheelbase. I'm not a big fan of the soft bags though.

LOL - with the tire machines, lift table, tool boxes and 4(+) bikes, there are no cars in the garage
Time for another building project.......Or move all together. Funny how that goes. When my Wife and I moved into our first house, we moved in 6 pickup truck loads. Had plenty of room to grow. After living there for 36yrs, we had long out grown that house. Probably by 26yrs. Anyways, it took @ 55 pickup truck loads to move out.
When we bought the place I figured if we didn't have the space for somethin, we'd either not get it or get rid of somethin. Well it didn't work that way
