So who else has gone down the Kodi wormhole ?

So as many as y'all have done, we kicked cable to the curb for streaming services. I have a few apps, (Netflix, YouTube, watch espn) and a bunch of Blu Ray DVD rips as well. About 1.5 TBs, of movies, on external HDs and cloud services. Plus, not to mention about 5TBs of all of the audio/visual music related stuff out there. From all the generations. And you can have it to since I'm willing to share. But that maybe too involved. So...

Main point being, I thought I was living the high life... Then i discovered kodi thru a raspberry .pi computer. Any and just about everything you can think of. Any Movie, tv show or what have you is at your fingertips. Yes live sport steaming too.

If anyone out there is using this, I'm interested in what add ons work best. PM me. Anyone who wants to cut that entertainment budget down and basically live in the future, PM me as well. I'm trying to bring any, and everyone, the highest quality, audio visual in music or in tv/movies, that's willing to learn.

FYI, you don't own the rights to all the "rips" and TBs of media in your possession so it's not exactly yours to share, and admitting that you're stealing media and offering to show others how to do the same is not the wisest thing to do on an open internet forum. This is not "living in the future", it's more like stealing in the present. But, it's a free country.

It's mind boggling how people justify stealing when it is digital content. Like somehow it's not "really" stealing.

in for good info, i thought abotu doing this awhile back but kept having issues with teh firestick i had, i dont konw i just had ****ty add ons or what but it never seemed to work well for me :*(

Correct. If I was stealing content, then I wouldn't bring it up. But I own (most, some have been lost) the DVD rips that I have. I've also paid for some of the add ons available. Also, some content that is legal beats paying cable and has better reception than the digital rabbit ears. USTVnow had a free tier with good channels on it. Folks always assume that if you use kodi, you're automatically stealing. Now I'm a gun carrying manic willing to bust caps whenever with ravenous pitt bulls ready to eat children and since i use kodi, I'm now a thief. Sorry just ranting lol

So, say for example Snoops Doggs Doggystyle album. I have purchased multiple times in my younger days but have lost or have had CDs become unreadable. So I have to keep all my discs, as proof?

Maybe I did come across as being a digital pirate willing to give away all my "digital" booty. It was not my intention. As stated above, half of the illegal stuff doesn't work. I'm mearly asking a question.

Quickly turning into a moral debate with uneducated participants.

OP didn't ask what your stance on the matter was.

I didn't see anyone mention "how to steal" or "how to pirate" anywhere in this discussion.

KODI offers a metric crap ton of content that is not copyrighted and free to anyone who cares to watch it.
