RIFLE IS SOLD! Leaving this up for Reference thanks for looking!
I am selling this Austrian StG 58 FAL rifle built from an original military parts kit by DSArms on their own type I receiver, it is chambered in .308/7.62x51 NATO. This is a genuine DSA built rifle made in april of 2001 from an ALL MATCHING parts kit with the original 21" military length cold hammer forged barrel. These rifles have been dried up for years and are in high demand due to the fact that they were built on the best of the best parts kits available as DSA had bought them out from Steyr (along with the tools and specs to make their own parts) in the 90s leaving only second tier kits for home builders to use on the market. The Austrian StG 58 is a favorite for FAL afficionados due to it's one-of-a-kind COLD HAMMER FORGED barrel. These rifles can expect a much longer service life over other FALs even the original Belgian FN guns!
I bought this gun new in 2001 and have since only put around 1200 rounds through it(it's not my only FAL!) so it's got a nice long service life still ahead of it though since it has been shot there is a little bit of brass rubbed into the finish on the side of the ejection port. I celebrated the AWB sunsetting in 2004 by removing the knock-off muzzle brake DSA installed and replacing it with an Austrian style flash hider to give it the complete miltary look. This rifle will come with it's original case, 1 magazine, military bipod (installed), and original paperwork including the registration card showing it was indeed built by DSA and not a third party builder and a FN FAL manual.
SOLD! Thanks ODT!
I am asking $1100 for this rifle. I absolutely love this gun and I hate to sell it but I have another FAL to keep me warm and I would really like to buy an ATV so this has got to go! I am only looking for CASH right now (unless you have an ATV to trade but I don't have much cash to throw in yet so that probably won't happen!). I am located in Snellville and I work in Norcross so I would like to try and stay in the metro Atlanta area.
Thanks for looking!
Here are a few additional pictures!
