Got a link to your GB auction? I am not saying I don't believe you. I have seen a few bust $800 so far. There are a few people asking $1000 but they are not getting that for them. There are a few SR1911s listed up on GB ranging from new to used. Anyone who pays over current gun shop price for the SR1911 is a sucker. I can think of so many better 1911s in the $900 to $1000 price range. You can easily get into a lightly used Springfield TRP or a used Dan Wesson Valor in that price range.

I ordered mine at AO Smyrna on May 7th, and as recently as last Friday they are saying they still can't tell me when I will get it. I've passed-up some other 1911 deals here and I'm just about ready to go ask for my money back.
