Alright, I’m kidding (kinda). I’ll wear a mask without complaint but everything has to reopen. That’s the whole point: if the mask makes for safer interaction, the schools and everything else should open like normal.

I dont understand why we cant leave the old folks at home, mingle a little and let the virus do its thing and then carry on from there. Pretty hard to achieve herd immunity when the herd is hiding in their homes. But I know, its better to shut down the entire world economy and lose more lives to the ensuing economic devastation than the fractional lives lost from a virus.

In my case, it’s not because I want to trample on your rights.
It’s because I’d love to get back to shopping and interacting with others, not being trapped in the house.
But, as a trifecta winner in the covid-19 pre-existing condition sweepstakes, and not wanting to die drowning in my own fluids, I am unwilling to chance it.
