Someone explain something about Gunbroker

He's one that is only accepting money orders as @jeep78 mentioned so he's going to be fishing from a smaller pond...
I personally wouldn't buy anything online with a money order.

I can see both sides of the fence with this. I sold an HK SP5K and specified MO only. As I was unfamiliar with Cashapp/Venmo/Zelle at the time, my only other real option would be Paypal. If Paypal was to find out and they locked my account and my money (over $3K), I'd be screwed.

Everything went without a hitch but you're right, it was a smaller pond.

It's interesting to see what guys put in as their highest bid. For example, I just placed a bid on a rifle that had as it's only bid $0.01. It's around a $600 rifle. I placed my bid and it did it's thing I'm currently the high bidder at $82. So someone consciously put in their highest bid at $81. Now why they do THAT is anyone's guess. :noidea:

I've been watching them. Quite a few have gone for money I'd probably consider. But I've never sold on GB and don't take credit cards, so I'd be fishing in the smaller buyers pool.

I may miss an opportunity by not selling now since I think the price will come down sharply when they import the mainstream guns or when other manufacturers start using the design.

I haven't gone to shoot it yet and when I get around to it, I guess selling for a premium will be no longer possible.

I bought and sold on GB for many years, (not so much recently). I've put in a bid for a few $ if I'm serious. It let's me know I was interested. Other, where I'm just watching pricing go on the watch list. I've even won a lowball bid once; just no one else wanted it.

The other thing to watch for is shipping costs. There's a gun I'd buy on there now, if it wasn't for the $100 shipping gouge.
