As far as I can tell both the Vepr you linked are the same model but one has been converted to 922R compliance allowing further modifications at the owners discretion.

What is the difference in a new Molot Vepr like this one:

What caliber?
Lot of options but def go import. Love my mak90 and SAR 1, but have gotten into 5.45 with a Polish Tantal and SAR 2. Thanks to @GoNoGo i got one in .223/5.56 that takes AR mags...you're close to me if ya meet up and bang off some rounds

Loaded question. Tough to say, since mak90 haven't been imported in 20+ years. The SAR series hasn't been imported in 10+ years I believe. WASRs are close since they are a staple of most AK collections.

Wasr or perhaps the Saiga, IMO. You can get more expensive AK's just like you can get more expensive AR's, but they have what you need and nothing you don't, just like a 6920. They are also both stamped receivers, which again, IMO, are better in an AK.
