Someone school me on Jeep Wranglers

Are y'all suggesting a Honda Accord or a Camry because she is a girl?

No, I am suggesting a small, reliable, safe, efficient car, that if a new teenage driver decides to play bumper cars it's not a huge deal.

If I were going to suggest a car because she's a girl I would suggest a VW Jetta

If it's still running and we still have it when my 4 year old turns 16 I'll let her have it as a first car. By then she will have 12 years experience behind the wheel of it. My dad used to always let me practice driving whatever vehicles we had. I'll turn her lose on a dirt road as soon as she's ready to try it. It does suck to drive long distances or on the interstate but thank goodness that isn't why we bought it.

I really get that last part. No Jeep as in CJ Wrangler is a long trip vehicle. In fact I always said a Jeep is a perfect third vehicle. Not something you want to drive everyday.

Mine don't have any carpet in it. Took out the center console. Cut a hole in the bottom of a 30mm ammo can and put a woofer in it. It is in place of the console. Bought a new top and don't know why. Always topless. I tell people it is my motorcycle. Oh, the main thing is, I got more money in it than I will ever get out of it. It's a Jeep thing

The factory center console in CJs and YJs was originally a beer cooler. Fill with ice and suds, there was a built in drain that drained the water out through the floor. At the time, it was legal to drive and have a cold one at the same time. Laws and times have changed.
