Sons of Liberty Gunworks M4 ARRIVED

Ran exactly 200 rounds of Federal XM193 today with no issues, all out of PMags.

Shot just over 2MOA, prone unsupported, @ 100yds. Recoil was smooth n' easy.

Geissele trigger is very nice, of course. Smooth take up, then a crisp, light break.

Ran 30 rounds of Hornady TAP 70grn GMX Barrier. Again, no issues, and this load grouped under 2MOA.

Round count so far:

Monday 3/6:
200rds Federal XM193 5.56
30rds Hornady TAP 70grn GMX Barrier 5.56

Tuesday 3/7:
120rds Federal XM193 5.56
150rds PMC Bronze .223

Friday 3/10:
150rds IMI M193 5.56
30rds Tula
30rds Mk262 Mod0 5.56
30rds PSA 77grn SMK
60rds Hornady TAP 70grn GMX Barrier 5.56

The Mk262 Mod0 was shot with a Nightforce ATACR F1 4-16x42mm in a GDI mount. This load shot a best group of .56" at 100yds, with an average for 5 3-shot groups of .68". Keep in mind, this is not an SPR and has a barrel made on the same machinery that makes M249 SAW barrels for the military.

For those of y'all questioning the validity of buying this carbine from Sons Of Liberty Gunworks instead of building it yourself, take a look at their Lifetime Guarantee.

I spoke to Mike (one of the owners of SOLGW) today. He stated that their Lifetime Guarantee covers EVERYTHING. If you wear out the gas rings, extractor, springs, even the BARREL.......ANY part of the gun.......SOLGW will replace the part(s) for free for the lifetime of the gun. Hard to beat and definitely puts the price in perspective.

Good lord. That's some amazing accuracy from a carbine barrel!
