This is from a 2017 Kia Turbo 4 cylinder. this happen to the factor original NGKs with 95,000miles. Replace with Champion. This time had two break with less than 10,000 miles. Now replaced with NGKs. Any idea why this would happen. The engine runs fine when the plugs aren’t broken and a course rough with the broken plugs.
see pictures. These are the champion

Jap/korean stuff i like ND or NGK , most of the time i like factory OE ….. AC in GM , Motorcrud in FORD , etc….
as asked above: you are checking them or just install out of the box ? Probably damaged before installed, dropped and cracked possibly.

Plug damaged before install.

Looks like the insulator around the electrode was cracked.

Could be in shipping or any time. If a plug is dropped, replace it. You do not know how it was handled before you got it.
