I live in the sticks. No cable, got DSL out here in 05'. They sold us 6 meg but it would trip trying to reach full speed.
I knew from previous experience that 6 meg would be tough this far out. The 3 meg service has been super reliable and it usually runs at the rated speed.
It ain't nothin' like the cable speeds I see at some offices I work, but it beats the hell out of dial up!
