To make a long story short...."A friend" got a speeding ticket. I just found out that if "my friend" has their speedometer tested they may get the ticket reduced. Does anyone know someone? I am looking for a honest company that understands that "my friend" would never intentionally speed so it must be a mechanical issue. Tires were recently changed.

Just pay the ticket,you know you were speeding
If he went bigger size on tires it could throw it off but I doubt it
As much as I hate those electronic speed warning signs that show "your speed", typically set up in a 35 mph area, I actually use them to validate my speedometer for peace of mind.
Fighting a speeding ticket is pointless. If you really want to know, you can test your speed with an app in your phone. I use my phone on my speedo-less motorcycle.
X2 or most GPS will have Speedo
Few years ago, I was on an airline flight, the kid next to me, in the window seat, used his smart phone to track takeoff speed.....about 160 as I recall.
