Wondering what this is?

Visiting Alabama and I know it’s not one of the many black widows around here!. Just not sure if it was benign, or a wandering spider (Ctenus hibernalis?), or a brown recluse?

Depends. If that's the first thing you see when you wake up, probably not good.
Otherwise, scoop it up in a paper cup, take it outside, and throw it where it can find some bugs.
