My REPLY: Well, they are both highly addictive activities that destroy lives, fortunes, and families.

And since we do not live in a libertarian society where you can fully suffer the consequences of your own stupidity and poor choices, I don't want the government supporting more families where the breadwinner blew the rent money on gambling.


I say NO to all legalized gambling in Georgia. Because like crack cocaine, it's too addictive and too many people can't handle it responsibly.

I've played it a few times a year ever since it started--- but you know what?
Not everybody in our society is like me. Enough of us are so greatly different from me when it comes to gambling that it's not worth it to have it legal.
It should be illegal and discouraged.



Even online gambling sites should be shut down /blocked for Georgia and any online gambling site that accepts registration from a Georgia resident should have its managers arrested for gambling here in Georgia. They would have at that point knowingly violated our laws and reached into the state with their business proposition.
