I bought a cold blue kit from Brownells this week to try to fix mine - the finish, that is.

Post up some pics when you're done. I always wondered how that stuff works. My Star actually was very clean, but I have a couple of old guns I'd like to try and clean up.

I was actually thinking of trying the Duracoat 'bluing' on one or two. I saw some samples last year at NRA and it actually looked pretty good.

I got one for $200 shipped with 2 mags. In a better shape ( Still Used) then the one pictured.
