State-to-Country Firepower Comparison

so we here in Georgia can go it alone head to head with Turkey, am i understanding this right?

If the chart below the map in the article is right, Georgia has 9.6 million residents and 8.6 million guns. That's still a pretty hefty number!

The figures are faulty. They take the total number of guns and people in the country and get a ratio, then they assign that number(slightly less than one) to everyone. Massachusetts has the same number of guns per capita as Georgia, Texas, etc, according to the article. They have taken the national numbers and applied them equally to everyone.
 
In 2010 the International Institute for Strategic Studies estimated that the Turkish Army had an established strength of approximately 402,000 active personnel, consisting of 77,000 professionals and 325,000 conscripts.[10] A more recent estimate (2012) put the figure at 391,000.[11] However as of October 2014 the Turkish Land Forces has a strength of 315,000 personnel according to TLF's declaration.[5][6]
