Not to get back on topic or anything, but am I right that bump stocks are illegal and now braces have to be registered as sbr’s, but binary’s still are completely legal? I’m asking seriously, please.

Federally, bumpstocks are still illegal in most states because the ruling only covered a few, Even there you would be risking issues if you had one because they were illegal anywhere for years and they aren't making any new ones, so having a working one in your possession would be something they could use against you.

This might help clarify. I thought the ban was fully reversed after the Appeals Court struck it down. But it seems a few states have held onto it.

Bump Stock Legality by State 2024

The ruling was only applicable to the states the 5th Circuit covers, which I believe are Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana. So far as I know there hasn't been anything that would affect Georgia.

So are the bumpstocks LEGAL in Georgia is this TRUE today?

Will likely pass the house, but the Senate isn’t a majority and the WH could veto.

Not much hope of it changing anything but I am pleased to see someone trying.
