Status of Griffin Gun Club?

I just realized that GGC is within 15 minutes of my house. I stopped by there this evening but they were having a board meeting so I couldn’t really talk to anyone.

I saw the thread from last year and it appeared maybe there were some issues. Any current members on ODT? Trying to find out the health of the club, what types of shooting are available, prices and overall if it’s worth the effort to join. Any intel from current members would be greatly appreciated. I think maybe mikey357 is/was a member?

Griffin Gun Club hosted a "Big 50" Trap tournament in June, but I don't see any additional events on the GATA calendar.
Sorry to learn there are/were legal issues.

Buddy of mine is a member, just added some new bays last year, healthy as far as I know.
I shoot there with him several times a year.

I heard that they had a horrible lightning strike a couple of weeks ago that took out ALL of their traps on the skeet field. Not confirmed yet though....

When I went by Tuesday, they were shooting on the shotgun field. Not a shot gunner, so don’t know if it was skeet, trap, etc.
