Steal on a rear tine tiller

T

i saw the same, theres 2 on there, one is the sale price the other isnt
Got it. I'd have jumped all over that when I was there. Living on rock now.

Because of how cheap it was they offered an insurance plan on it for only $25. It goes for 2 years. They pay to repair or replace it. Can’t really go wrong, every where else I’ve seen rear tine tillers they’ve started at around $600.
Sure I can see that side.

Not trying to be jerk in your thread, just skeptical of low cost equipment by a brand I don't know.

My concern would be getting parts or service 5 or 10 years from now. Will they still be around...? :noidea:

For $200 if you get 5-10 years youre way ahead. Im probably going to get one and if it lasts 5+ years i'll be happy. As i mentioned earlier, 4 uses and youre cheaper than a rental.

That's true!! I'd just wonder how long it would last. :D

My dad had a rear tine Troy-Bilt he used for 30 years. About 15 years ago I sold it for him and several guys wanted it. They told me the old ones held their value, since they well made and still worked. Plus parts were still made for them.

I agree with the concern for getting parts. Hopefully it holds up well. Like I said earlier I went with the 2 year replacement plan. Hopefully anything major that breaks will be within that timeframe. I’m going to do some fall crops with it when it arrives. Starting all the plants in containers this weekend and should get 4 more plowings out of it before the warranty is up. I’ll post pics and a review here once it gets to me.

Yeah the warranty is the smart decision here as you get it fixed or get another. Hope it works great for you.

Probably just me worrying unnecessarily (as usual)...lol.

Had to use the Allstate warranty on a dehumidifier I bought at HD. Fairly simple claim process and since it couldn't be repaired - I got my money back.
