Steel Frame Full Semi-Auto Pistol Recommendations

Decided I need something other than my plastic fantastics for when the big igloo hits and the alphabet soup bois come to shoot my dog.

Looking for recommendations for a good out-of-the-box, steel frame pistol.

Not looking for CZ Shadow2 bucks but also not looking for Rock Island Auto pennies either.

9mm, 15rds standard or more, and..... GO!

Having shot both a Wilson Centurion and a 92 LTT, I'd love a Wilson but not sure I want to drop the coin right now unless I find a SMOKIN' deal.

Sig Sauer M11-A1, or a Legion P229 are my favorites.

I picked up a police trade in 92 , still bright night sights and the normal department "carried a lot, shot a little" wear for right at $400 at Ed's in Stockbridge.
It's not shiny or tactical but it shoots as good as I can.

I just converted my SR1911 from 45acp to 45 Super last night. Going Thursday to try it out and make adjustments as needed.

What part of 9mm and 15 rounds standard didn't you understand?
Never mind, the fact you suggested a 1911 shows you're autistic.
