I always read your posts bc there’s no bs involved. Real talk. And you know what your talking about. Always good to hear from you man. Hope all is well!I’ve had both side by side and eventually sold the ACR.
Aug is very versatile with 4 or 5 different uppers and as many colors.
Left or right hand firing/ejection with a simple bolt swap.
10-second barrel swaps, from SBR to 24” HBar with bipod, and in between.
Very nimble and compact, and muzzle leap is reduced due to center of gravity shifted rearward.
NATO Stanag mags or Steyr waffle mags with a swap of the body and hammer pack
300BLK barrels are soon to be a reality, so I hear.
With practice, mag swaps are still a few milliseconds slower than ACR.
Overall it’s best to fondle and fire both before making a decision. I prefer the AUG waffle mags, there’re under $30 for the 42 rounders and are very reliable and durable, and BHO on last round fired... you loose that (bho) feature on the AR mag body.
