Have you shot it? Are the conditions you describe just manual manipulation?

Maybe it just needs a few break-in mags?

I literally installed it an hr ago. I believe the answer is to shoot it as well, but after reviewing the last pic, i think the wear is beyond abnormal. I cant just pop out back and fire off a few mags unfortunately.

Well it did so im going to say yes. Lol.

I facebooked the barrel manufacturer and they are on point so far. Will discuss this with their gunsmith on monday. Looks like possible a miss aligned barrel extension possibly, not sure though as ive never run into this myself.

Knights folks? Ill admit you got some good hookups, but sadly john isnt building anyone rifles anymore. I had visions a n3 before but after many iterations, i like simple ars better over fancy ones. Plus these older a2/a1 types will work well beyond the time i pass, these fancy gamer guns might not. Im not calling noveske a gamer gun, they are top notch for sure.

Nope. Went from the box to the upper minus a glamour shot for you boo. All from cycling the bolt by hand. It is loosening up though, so that tells me its the extension.
