Depends on what I'm drinking. Scotch and fine whiskey/bourbon is straight up. Cheaper stuff on the rocks. Tequila always straight because cheap stuff is about the worst things ever.

Doesn't matter to me wether its straight, mixed or on ice, I can not drink warm alcohol of any kind. For that matter, I can't drink any thing warm or hot. Not even coffee.

On the rocks, the only exception would be a nice Mexican sipping whiskey, with a cold beer chaser.

It's better with 2 cubes of ice which release it's full flavor. I prefer using whiskey stones so it doesn't water the drink down. You can find them in some wineries or order em from several places on line.

While i don't like my whiskey warm, even room temp for that matter, I don't like ice watering it down. I just prefer to keep it on the freezer.
