Coming up from the Rome Bypass (Grizzard Park) it's gets pretty shallow when in some spots. I would be more worried about your outboard than the boat honestly. But, if you didn't mind getting out and pulling through you can get into some really good spots. There are a couple of spots at the fish weirs down river of the Atlanta steeple chase that I am not sure you could traverse just due to the flow rate of water.
