I have a friend who's mother was issued a S&W 686 quite a few years ago as a duty weapon. It has some pitting, etc from surface rust. He's thinking of having it reblued as a gift. I'm looking for suggestions for someone competent, who also doesn't charge as of they're plating it with gold. He's located in Winder. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks ODT!

686 = stainless steel. A little draw filing, progressive sanding to 2000 grit should do the trick.
