Summer food plots?

Soybeans, soybeans, soybeans!
The only problem you will run into with them is the deer eat them to fast when there first coming up, and they won’t recover and die. You can discourage this by spraying them with a deterrent with they first germinate and buy the plants some time to establish.
Plow and rip the soil until you are tired of riding the tractor. Once you have a good seed bed you can’t plant your summer forage and then a light discing this fall will be enough for you winter annuals. Rye or wheat with a little clover mixed in will do well.
Your PH is probably going to be off pretty bad so take a soil sample and treat accordingly.
