Get out there and HOWL
From another forum said:The second eclipse of 2019 will be a total lunar eclipse the night of Jan 20, visible in all of North and South America as well as far western Europe. (The first eclipse will be a partial solar eclipse on Jan 6 visible only in northeast Asia and the north Pacific.) The total lunar eclipse will be the best of 2019's five eclipses, since it will be a "super wolf blood moon" (and because I'll be able to watch it start to finish).
The partial eclipse begins at 10:33 EST and the total phase begins at 11:41 PM EST. This link should give you beginning and ending times for the phases of the eclipse in your local time.
- Super moon - moon at its closest approach to earth (appears bigger)
- Wolf moon - first full moon in January
- Blood moon - the red moon observed during a total eclipse
