They've done very well so far. This was the only deer that went more than 20yds after being shot. That was my fault tho. He was quartering more than I calculated and I didn't compensate for it.
I went to the farm this morning in hopes of putting a large doe or a cull buck in the freezer. That didn't happen, and I wasn't able to go this afternoon. Low and behold, this guy came through the backyard at last light. He's not what I was hoping to shoot, but the freezer was getting pretty empty. Discreet Ballistics subsonic round. He went about 10yds and crumpled.

I did some population control in SE Alabama this past deer season.
Sako 85-S Black Bear .308, Rex MG7 can, Barnes Vor-Tx 150gr ttsx. Quartering to at 25 yards, bullet entered in front of the shoulder and exited just in front of the opposite hindquarter. Deflated both lungs and shredded the liver. She ran 30 yards and piled up in a creek.
