is it really going o be harder come July 13th to get one? Should I go ahead and try to et some paperwork started? And does anyone know if Cherokee Gun and Pawn will let you get it started and make payments on the suppessor? I'd like to get one or two but being a college student my paychecks aren't great. Thanks for any advice and information y'all bestow upon me :)

IMHO, yes, it will be annoying as well after 07/13.

If you're buying as an individual... the process will be getting (marginally) easier on the 13th.

If you have a trust.. it will be mildly more difficult, in that you need a photo and prints.. like an individual buyer already has to do.

Don't go pawning your car title or anything to rush and get a can. It'll be fine.. in fact.. you may even see a drop in retail prices after this rush slows down.

= freaking annoying....

Enough **** to submit already. Why they saw a need for more is beyond me.

Incorrect, they send the form to the ATF immediately. You obviously can't pick up your purchase until it is approved and you pay for the layaway in full.
Did the complete opposite when I did mine.

ETA: You are correct. I had my head up my ass. Realized they just need the last payment by approval.

I prefer a trust so my family can use my items.
You could pay for a trust and be the only one on it and add people later.

CG&P will do layaway plan but I think it is only 90 days.
You could call and check that though.

I'll give them a ring tomorrow. I'd read a lot on this but it's still not quite clear. i hear they are helpful with the process. I love the store but haven't purchased anything that needs a stamp. Does TruePrep sell suppressors?
