I just PM'd QuietRiot last night to get advice on a can for dual use (.300 & 5.56) si I'll be watching this thread for input from the more experienced.

Right now the Omega looks like the can to beat for sound and weight. Dead Air looks to have the edge on the mounting device.

But I'd wait a bit to see some third party reviews - which shouldn't be long. I am leaning towards the Omega myself.

Yeah, at the moment the omega looks to be the choice if you're expressly looking for a can for both 7.62 & 5.56

Very interested to see how well it gets reviewed
