Take a friend shooting!

Stuff like this is worth more than any vote when it comes to protecting the 2A. If we don't keep growing the community we'll eventually lose big.
Exactly! Just this one person getting involved in shooting has positively effected the opinion of many others about shooters. Many people know and love Rev, so if she is shooting guns, guns can't be all bad.

I took my daughter in laws dad & brother in law to the range when they all came down from NY for the wedding of our two kids. They had a great time, especially when I handed her dad my G19 with a 33rd mag in it. He freaked out for a minute because he didn't realize those mags were legal here, the look on his face was priceless and we became great friends that day. His son in law had never shot a gun before and he was hooked after he shot his first round, you couldn't knock the grin off his face with a 2x4. Lol!

That's the best part and it happens almost every time!

Good for you, Bear. I've had occasion to introduce several women to firearms through the years. Interestingly, all were totally business related. I've never seen one that didn't absolutely love it. And one or two were anti-gun beforehand.
On an unrelated note, I've recently had 3-4 of my buddies who said their wives approached them about going to the range and then buying them a gun. Maybe it's not as bleak as we think.

A few weeks back I took my sister (who never had a gun, was raised with them in the house, but I don't remember her ever shooting one) up in the mountains and we shot my HK91, both .308 and with the .22 kit, my MP5 clone and my 9.3x62 CZ. She like the HK91 and never made a peep about recoil. Most guy are crybabies about it. She didn't care for the MP5 because the suppressor blew a bit of smoke in her eyes. I fired the 9.3 first so she could get an idea of the recoil compared to the .308. Then she shouldered it and fired a round. she lost her grip on it but caught it before it hit the ground. Then wanted to shoot it again. and again. 286gr round noses at 2,450fps. Kinda sharp for a new shooter.

A week later she was calling to ask what the big black gun was so she could get her story straight to someone. I need to invite her again.
