Tared, Feathered and Ran out of the State

Would someone near Athens let Greg Mcgarity know that I am available at the cut rate price of $2,000,000 per year to mentor young men and lose football games.

Going to undercut you here. I'm young, can relate to these "young men", and all I want is $10k, an Uga puppy, and that guy who arranged for those escort services and parties at Louisville to be my personal assistant.

If the team is going to suck, you might as well get laid and get paid.

What I don't get is Georgia is the only team in the SEC that run a strictly PRO set at QB. How do you get to the point that you don't have a QB to run the system?

I think the majority of high schools are running spread so it is hard to pick up a pro style kid now days.

Think it's about time for Georgia to come into the new millennium.

Pro system is why they do so good in recruiting. Kids wanting to go to the NFL know a school like GA or Alabama or LSU gives them the best opportunity because of the pro systems. Cam Cameron is running the show at LSU and they're doing fine.

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Stafford came from a Spread system in HS and he did fine with a few early hiccups. But that's been years ago and I don't remember that well.

System is not the issue, but the coordinator is. The OC only has that job (or any job he's held in the past decade) because of his daddy. Out of all of the NFL guys you could pluck to run UGA's offense, that's the one you picked.

Worked out about as well as Spurrier reuniting with John Hoke.

Yeah, but everybody was wanting BoBo to go. Careful what you ask for I guess.
