Tattoos in the real world

I work at Delta (a pretty big company).. and they have a "tattoo policy" but I think that only applies to corporate. I work in TechOps, and I know at least 10 guys with full sleeves.

Edit: I personally don't have any, only because I just can't decide on something with real meaning that I won't regret a year from now. I have no problem with them though.

I am one of the guys in TechOps with full sleeves and I have not been held back at all. They are not on my face, neck, or hands and they won't be because they aren't "me". I wear short sleeves in a professional environment every day.

I'm a manager at cvs and I have a full sleeve on my right arm and half sleeve on My left.

Wear long sleeves or compression sleeves alots of ways around hiding them for work

when your ink has a deep meaning I find it very disrespectful call them an attention whore. for all you know that ink is for a loved one lost or a brother taken in war, could be about the son they lost or the mother they miss. Ink can have very deep meaning witch is why I have them. just my 2 cents.

I have what some people might call "offensive " tattoos. I have to cover them when important people show up at work. Part of it. When I first got my job I did not let them know I had tattoos. They did not find out I had over 9 for 6 months. By then... Too late. I kick ass f u pay me.
