TC Icon to 25.06?

First post here folks and hoping that people don't level me with insults for asking a dumb question. I'm a huge fan of the Thompson Center Icon's action. The thing is like butter. I'm also really wanting a 25.06. My less than informed thinking is that I can potentially buy a TC Icon in 30.06 and have a new 25.06 barrel put on by a quality gunsmith, who would make whatever adjustments etc which need to be done.

Is that even close to being what I'm looking at. I honestly don't know a whole bunch about the subject of rechambering etc. And I know I can go buy a really nice TC Venture in 25-06 for cheap, and probably a few others. I'm just a big fan of the Icon, wood stocks, and having something a bit unique.

So any guidance would be appreciated. Any suggestions of a quality gunsmith who could do this work would be greatly appreciated as well.

Probably be cheaper to find someone who would like to swap entire rifles. Barrel swap gonna set you back a minimum of $400 if I had to guess.

Yeah, so far I can't find anyone who even works on a Thompson Center!
