I have searched with no answer on the city's law or even Paulding County's law on how far away from a neighbors house you have to be to shoot a gun. I read 50 yards from a public road and some city's require 400/500 feet from surrounding houses. Does anyone know what it is for Temple? Thanks for any help.

Deputy from Paulding County sheriff's office told me 50 yards from a road and 100 yards from another house. I had the law called on me and that's the info I was given. I was legal.
Call DNR in your area...If you are in the county and not the city

You can't find it because they ain't one. If you are far enough from a public road you can most definitely shoot off your back porch as long as the bullet lands on your property. I got two ranges here both have been inspected by many many deputies. I am in Dallas but not in city limits.
Make sure you have a good backstop. I'm in Dallas too and one of the times LEO came here for the ruckus we were making he just checked out my buddy's bump fire and we told him could pop a few off. He said he might come back after his shift but never did
