Texas sucks! Tell your friends.

There is quite a difference in San Antonio and Craplanta.

I hope you find your place out there. Lots of good hunting, as you already know.
There is a HUGE difference for sure. TODAY. Sadly it reminds me of Atlanta 30 years ago. Spooky how much. Hopefully history doesn't repeat there.
Head North on I10, there's still some Hill Country land to be found.
I can tell you every home for sale between SA and Kerrviile and points east and west on 10+ acres and have been able to for the last 2 years. Very frustrating.
They started with Seattle but then they spread like cancer. Denver, Boise, Dallas, Austin, Nashville, all of Western Montana, and who knows how many more cities. They’re like a plague of affluent locusts.
Asheville used to be nice. 😣

I know a lot of people who like El Paso, which I found surprising. I drove by there many times, spent the night, never bothered to explore it at all. Probably should have.
El Paso if fun for 1 night then it's just like all the other towns in Mexico.. been there done that even had the shirt but threw it in the trash.

Anyone who can see how much growth Atlanta has had, go to Dallas and it will put things in perspective. That place is nuts.

Austin was one of my favorite cities to go to on the weekends 20 years ago. It now reminds me a lot of Los Angeles.

I keep researching different parts of the country but it’s very likely I am not going anywhere for another 10-15 years. Who knows how things will look then?

Ya Austin was a cool place, back in the 70s we had a test well we would go test new logging well tools during the day and at night to 6th street for a lot of FUN.
