It's cold here, lol. I was in 80 degree weather for two weeks and I forgot it was so damned cold here.

Oh well.....it was long past needing to be replaced. I hate to think I need to replace the aluminum wiring but that probably needs doing too. I'm an HVAC ignoramus.

I would definitely replace the aluminum wiring if at all possible. That stuff's scary to me. Worked with an electrician wiring new homes with it in the 70's, too easy to break, corrode, put in wrong type receptacle/switch. JMO
