That would have been when the shower of sparks shot out of the box and the metal coil in the cap came flying out and melted the floor.

Been working in that but the app I'm using seem to shorten it. I want about 1.5 seconds.

I don't know how that's supposed to keep you warm. The fire is much too small.
Maybe time to upgrade your emergency heat options.

Scott O'Quinn came by (super knowledgeable) and rewired the box so I am not using aluminum wiring on an 90 amp breaker (yikes! I had no idea). System is working and I'll limp along until I can replace the whole system.
