Would it be tarded of me to make some videos just reading out of those manuals? I used to get a lot of benefit out of audio books when I was in college. But maybe that was just me?
Make a video stating you read this and that in a manual and give your viewers a chance to interact with comments. Where did you get the information to make the other videos ?

I'd argue most civilian fireteams don't have good leadership training, sustainment training, training on basic tasks, training on basic maneuvers, training on basic 'tactics', etc.

I don't like that synopsis, I'd like to say most free states could muster competent and humble men, but the reality I've seen is over sized egos where every hick fancies themselves a sniper (they've never shot past 150 yards) or some overweight middle-aged guy who hasn't had to ruck several miles, dig a hole, sit in it wet and freezing for 2 days, then make rational calls that could impact themselves or the men around them greatly.

The best role imo is any form of leader.

That starts in our homes, our community, our jobs, etc. Being able to talk to people coherently, them trust you, you holding yourself accountable, knowing limitations, making time, and being able to have people gather around you and you not take advantage of them. That's powerful. More than any single rifle.

I was a fire team leader - Charlie Co. 2nd platoon first fire team to be exact. I was also an M60 machine gun team lead as well, which got me qualled on the M9 Beretta. The one suck part of being a fire team leader was if you had knuckleheads in your fireteam you had to make sure they were always squared away. They weren’t always squared away either. In formation I didn’t have to stand muster with a rifle which was cool though.
