I haven't been down there in quite some time. I usually like to hop in Kevin Barry's. Good food! Do you remember the name of the bar?
Not to sound like a beer snob, but if you pour it in a glass, it opens up the flavors and you are able to use your nose to taste the whole beer. You would be surprised how much you taste a beer through your nose.
Damn! That's more variety than the distributors that sell to them. How is that possible?
I ain't been to Savannah in years. But I hope that the Cotton Trading Company is still there. That's where me and my wife are lunch after driving down to Brunswick and getting married in the Glynn County Courthouse. We drove back up 17 to Savannah and walked down River Street.
Anyway if they're still around you have to try the shrimp and grits and the bloody Mary at the Cotton Trading Company. Best Bloody Mary I ever had.
Great! Now I'm hungry!
