the comcast death rattle

Comcast was a great company to work for but I can see where some customers would have issue with their service.

Funny thing is most of the bad service is due to ingress from dumbass ****ing idiots adding their own lines into the systems in their homes. One cheap radio shack splitter can **** up a whole block/neighborhood.
not in most cases

most cases it is comcasts intentional dishonest practice, especially when it comes to their billing and customer service departments

the service department promises one thing, the billing does the other. you have to constantly check what you are being billed for. they will lie too, i had to cal them out on what an "equipment rental fee is" and to this date i have not gotten an explanation other than "well, its a fee we felt like adding to the bill"

So... you don't like Comcast? But seriously I know what you mean. We originally signed up for their stand alone internet service. Then my wife signed ufor their cable package. That was completely unlike her since we ain't had cable or satellite since we've been together. And I had just ordered a better outdoor antenna. But her and the youngun just had to have AMC and The Walking Dead. But she has bitched about having it everyday since. I don't like the fact that it all comes into the house on one coax cable. And if one goes out so does the other. So now we're looking to drop the cable and go with Roku/Sling TV.
I think all cable/sat is on the way out. People like me are sick of paying to have **** like BET,MTV,CNN and ESPN just to get the channels we do want. They really need to offer a pick 30 or pick 50 menu to the customer. But they will never do that.

i just netflix mostly

i dont see the value in paying for a channel that advertises and only has a few shows you would like

**** will rot your brain

I have direct TV. When I first got them it was better than I've heard about with others complaining of, storms would come through with out little interruption. But now a Nat can fly by the satellite dish and fart, it will go out.

I worked for Comcast out in Colorado in Denver. We were a banner operation for Comcast. We were the example that the rest of the Comcast country was supposed to be like. I guess the rest of the country failed. But you live in Atlanta and the people that work there are mostly lazy and inept to begin with ( I am sure you are not one of those people though since we have met.)
