I dig sitting at the bar at the Rookery. Ain't been there in about 10 years . But it's one of the very few places left in Macon that I miss. Well I miss my old neighborhood around Southwest High School. But it's all bad around there now. And they bulldozed all the original buildings at Southwest a few years ago. Then they built **** that looks like a prison without a fence. So no reason to go back there.
I still dig riding out Vineville Ave towards Rivoli. And I really dig riding around Rose Hill Cemetery . It may sound creepy but me and my wife used to get Chen's Wok and eat it down by the river facing the Confederate Graves. So very few cool places left in Macon.
I'm not a whiskey snob lol. I bought a bottle of that and hated it. I'm a cheap drunk...I like my cheap-as-hell Evan Williams small batch!
Who's house can I come to and drink at, the girlfriend will not let me drink at home anymore.
