I had a buddy that collected Javilins , he had a dozen ever some limited additions
there was an AMX Pierre Cardin edition, i think was the name and even a 401 but the 390 was the beast of the bunch

They were even used as the alabama highway cars for the police​

Had a green AMX leave my 396/350 4-speed ‘69 Nova in the dust on I-85 one night. We rolled at about 80, all I saw was two taillights gettin’ smaller and smaller.

Neighbor behind us through the woods had a 390 Javelin when I was growing up. He cranked it every weekend and ripped it up and down the street. Made my day every time.
