The Mayor, Police Chief and local gay commissioner say someone should have done something. The man drug the woman up and down the sidewalk in front of the bus station for 10 minutes. All on camera. Across the street is a gas station where the employees watched it all, called it in. The police station is a half block away. "At least make a noise to distract" ?? Homeless folks doing their thing, it's the folk's fault. Rant over.

So, the police dept. will have a cookout, give out some back packs to the kids and all will be good again. life in albany. and the killer goes from homeless to a warm cot and food. he was already in jail for drunk and disorderly, easy arrest.

The saddest part is it happened. The sad part is had someone intervened they would have been under the jail for "attacking a mentally ill man". It's a lose lose situation.
