The Gun Box, what do you think?

I see only a couple of problems with it:
1. Is there a mechanical way to get into it in case electronics fail? I didn't see anything in the description about it....
2. The cost....
3. The technology of the print scanner is cool, but like what was posted above....the chip model seems like anyone with a bracelet can get in it. Unless all the chips are unique? I would like the print scanner on my big safe, along with a mechanical back up. Electronics fail...

All the RFID chips are unique to your safe

If somebody breaks into your home while your gone, they steal your nightstand gun. Or, they steal your nightstand gun and fancy box, and break into it later.

We don't have kids, so I'm looking at it from my perspective, but I don't see where I really gain at all having one of those.

It might be cool to have one mounted in a car or SUV , say. The rapid entry with the safety of a mild strong box? Something there I suppose.

It does have a place for a cable lock. That would be a mild theft deterrent.

biometric = cool
rfid = cool if it was embedded in your skin, but then we'd have a whole nutha level of paranoia to deal with. :tinfoil3:

either way, i'd want to bolt it down somehow.
