The Gun Box, what do you think?

Puh-leeze. Rather throw that $300 into a shotgun.

Sparky, the wife doesnt use the safe I bought her, she puts the F-ing gun in the sock drawer. We have a 3 year old, and the sock drawer as a hiding place makes me nervous, even if its only at night while I'm travelling.

$300 bucks is CHEAP insurance in this case for me.

Sounds like a wife problem, not a security problem. ;)

It might be a little much on technology, but if you have small kids leaving it in a nightstand drawer isn't smart. I'd have no problem with that if I didn't have kids. I know there are other models much cheaper than have the finger combination on it that would work equally well.
Mine has finger combo with keyed backup. Works well

So, the wife thought it looked cool, and she doesnt use the nightstand safe I bought her cause its got a keypad that she doesnt think she can get open quickly in the dark.

I ordered it on the 9th and they charged my card on the 10th. I got an order confirmation, but no shipping confirmation, no tracking number.

Today I called, cant get a real person on the phone, its a recording of how busy they are..check the website for questions. blah..blah..blah.

Sent an email to customer service, no response yet.

So far, not impressed with their customer service. MC/Visa don't allow a retailer to bill before they ship, and I don't think its shipped.

Not cool. Not impressed so far.

If you read the fine print on their website they are the same folks that did the SA XDS recalls {excuse me, upgrades} maybe you will get it by Christmas :) j/k

Looks neat, but unless the thing is bolted down, I would imagine in the heat of the moment, a lot of owners would open the thing with the rfid wristband, and then reach for the gun but accidentally knock the whole contraption to the floor. Purpose = defeated.
