I won't be able to make it due to a work trip. You guys have fun!
Looking into the September one with the missus. Is there anything on the course of fire? I didn't find one linked.
How does one decide how much ammo to bring? Pistol and rifle?

I'd really like to do one of these but think I should start with a traditional biathlon.... which I've never found, anywhere even remotely close. 
Course of Fire:
The course of fire will not be posted prior to the race. This is to challenge you in the moment. Expect to shoot rifles to 300yds and pistols to 50yds with minimum round counts of 40 rifle and 35 pistol.

Ok, that's something to work with.l to figure some weight. I'll have to look close at some videos to see kits people use.

I didn't change up much for my second one, just an extra GP pouch at 11 o'clock for spare mags instead of running it in with my water. Everybody has their ideas on how to run it but I still think not wearing something on your chest is going to be better for the heat and breathing if you can swing it. Plus better mobility if you have to go over a wall or up a rope or something.
