The Hi Point Thread

Nothin' but love for the ghetto guns. I had to try one of each brand. The Jimenez looks and feels more like a real pistol although heavier. The controls and take down are much better. However over the long haul I would probably feel better with the Hi Point. I've owned 2 Jimenez 9s with cracked frames.
But let me just say this about Jimenez customer service. First they sent me free trigger parts when I tried to fix it myself. When that didn't work I sent it to them in Nevada. Soon as they got it they called to tell me I had a frame crack and they were sending me a whole new pistol in ny choice of finishes. Two days later it was back at my LGS waiting to be picked up. And I told them more than once I bought it used on Gunbroker. Didn't matter. They made it good.
I know everyone raves about Hi Point customer service and that's cool considering how cheap they're guns are. But Jimenez ain't no slouch. And on the box it reads " Manufacturers of Affordable Firearms ".

This thread has increased the average value of Hi Points by at least 50%.
Hey when I get moved back to middle GA I'll take every deal in any Hi Point model that's within driving range. They're like the new snub nose 38 of this century. Remember in the 70s and 80s when you could score new or used snub nose revolvers for a hundred bucks and under? Brands like RG and Titan were plentiful at that price and even Charter and Rossi models weren't much more than that. People I knew had several snubs that were strategically stashed all over the house. But these days there ain't any cheap wheel guns to be had. But Hi Points are everywhere. So to me that's the new go to stash pistol.
