The infractions are rolling... don't make "rated" posts

Right, you are free to rate threads, just don't go in the thread afterwards and say you did it.

Pls post a sticky (or something like it) explaining the "rating a thread" issue. I don't really understand what you guys are talking about. Perhaps I'm just a mountain rube, but I really want to understand so that I am respectfully posting comments.
Thanks in advance.

Hope this helps to clarify everything for you guys; at the top right of the screen of any post, there is the option to "Rate This Thread"

Once you click on that link, it pops up a window letting you rate (good or bad) how you feel about the thread

This "rating" will show in the middle of the page when you're looking at a page in Classifieds, for example "Ammunition"

The reason all of this has come about today, is that some users have been "rating" pages that they feel are overpriced, and then commenting in that user's post that they rated it. Right, wrong, or indifferent, we don't need a bunch of comments added to posts in the Classifieds section, so the rules were made clearer today to address this rating system.

In short, feel free to "rate" a page; just don't post comments THAT you rated it.
