My buddy restores Scouts.

I can’t tell you how many absolutely perfectly solid scouts I’ve seen over the years in junk yards but they would only
Part them out and not sell the whole vehicle.

What’s even worse is my buddy who worked at a salvage yard in the 80’s
And crushed so many classic muscle cars and trucks that he still has PTSD and fever dreams over what he participated in.

1978 Scout II was my first vehicle. My dad purchased it new. If you were very proactive with the rust, you could manage it.

It was a cool vehicle.

VW is garbage. Disposable.
